Meet Jennifer bass billman
Welcome! I’m Jennifer. My love for hair design began over 30 years ago, inspired by Barbie doll makeovers and encouraged by my Grammy’s belief in my creativity. By the age of 18, I had graduated from hair school and started styling for anyone who would let me.
Is fueled by fashion and nature; they get my creative juices flowing! I have a deep understanding of shapes, color, and balance – if you cut hair a certain way, it will fall just so. I’m endlessly curious, which led me to fall in love with both the chemistry and the artistry of hair design.
Each client that sits in my chair is an opportunity to create something beautiful and edgy, tailored to their unique personality. I am profoundly service-oriented – my clients are my world. I love to listen, learn, and make each person feel special and look their best.
Has always been the foundation of my growth. Our hair industry is ever-changing, and I thrive on evolving with it. Joining Goldwell in 2005 as a Color Educator, I underwent rigorous certification to teach other hairdressers and students about color theory, formulation, technique, and styling. My passion led me to achieve the title of Master Colorist in 2015, training in Santa Monica and New York and working alongside globally respected artists. This journey has opened my eyes to find inspiration in everything, leading me to present my work on an international level with Goldwell Color Zoom in Sweden in 2016.
Extend to the realms of fashion design, with dreams of working at fashion weeks in Europe and New York. It’s high on my bucket list! My current certifications include Goldwell Master Colorist-Color Artist, NBR Hair Extensions, Coppola Keratin Smoothing System, Goldwell Kerasilk Smoothing System, Brazilian Blowout, Cinderella, HotHeads, and Hair Dreams Hair Extensions. My work has been featured on MTV’s Makeover Story, Fox 25 News, and So Six Magazine, and I’m a proud advocate of MOP-modern organic products.
